Perfect plug 'n play routerAs so many of the other reviewers have stated, this is a great little router. Very fast, compact, and simple to use. Just plug it in using the accompanied wall adapter, then hook up the internet LAN cable, and plug in your devices. I use it as a secondary router, off the main one, for my stereo/tv setup. It seems all newer home AV components have an ethernet port built in. So I use this device to connect my Oppo Blu Ray player, my Denon AVR, and my Sony XBR9 TV.

It works great and allows for fast streaming capabilities. The Denon is capable of streaming internet radio, and this allows that to work just great. I am also in the process of creating a home network to my PC which will allow me to stream anything from my computer to the TV / home theater system.

This router easily mounts to any wall or cabinet too, with the versatile mounting holes in the back. D-link made this one a winner for sure. Amazon shipped it free, and fast, using UPS.

Excellent rangeI replaced 2 Linksys WRT54G's with this WRT320N. The one thing that immediately struck me was how great the range was compared to the old WRT54G's I was replacing. The range is so good in fact that I no longer need to place 2 wireless routers in my home. Just one WRT320N covers my whole house, and it does an excellent job of it. Where I used to have 50% signal, I now have 100% signal. Internet thruput appears no different that what I got with my old units, which is good news ([...]). I can't comment on reliability yet, since I've only had this unit for a short time. Setup went without any hitch, firmware installed is 1.0.03 build 10. Overall, very pleased with this purchase. I thought I'd be stuck buying WRT54G's for the rest of my life, but it appears that Linksys has put together something even better!

Not Bad For The MoneyThis is the first network drive I have ever purchased but my 3rd Western Digital Drive. I have been very happy with my previous WD drives so they were the first company I went to when I decided to buy a network drive. It was very easy to set up and I had it done within minutes. The itunes server works great and I have had no problems whatsoever with streaming music of videos. It is quiet, keeps cool, and is very attractive on my desk!

I highly recommend this product to anyone who would like an intro level network drive with a great deal of reliable storage space.

Just what the doctor ordered.My netgxxx gigabit router fried on me a few days ago (a problem with that particular model) This Belkin N+ was the least expensive gigabit N router I could find at retailer since I needed it right away.

-The CD setup was VERY EASY and fast too. I think I was up running in ten minutes.
-The lights on the front are nice. I just noticed my internet down, and the blue 'globe' light was flashing. A reboot of the modem fixed the internet.
-The throughput is FAST (as fast or faster than my old gigabit router)
-It is 3 weeks and no router reboot yet.
-It works with our WII out of the box

The only negative is the CD setup leaves your login connection open and logged in without a password. I had to go to 192.168.X.X and set an admin password to secure it. Interface was pretty simple to figure out.

Good for my entertainment centerIt was a hard to get installed on my network correctly, but once done it works fine. I like the fact that I can have both my DVR and blu-ray player plugged into the same unit. I would buy this again.

Received two DIR-655 DOAI ordered the DIR-655 based on the positive reviews it received on Amazon. I have received two units from Amazon and both have been dead on arrival. I spent about 20 minutes on each unit working with D-Link tech support. I found it interesting that the two technicians tried totally different solutions. Regardless, they could not get a TCPIP Ping to work so they declared my units defective. This was my first and last D-Link purchase. Back to Linksys.

What a difference!I recently had a big workstation crash that forced me to revisit my home network after 10 years. One of the additions was a Western Digital ShareSpace 4 TB 4-Bay Gigabit Ethernet Network Attached Storage with RAID 5 - WDA4NC40000N. When I plugged in the array and started moving files back onto my NAS, I found that things were going too slow. The new NAS has gigabit ethernet. So I started looking around. Well, I quickly figured out that my home routers and switches were way way out of date. I had a 10MBP switch and a 10/100MBPS fast switch and a 10/100 routher: wow slow stuff.

So I went on Amazon and ordered two of these netgear Gigabit switches and a Linksys by Cisco WRT320N Dual-Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router.

Well, in less than 20 minutes literally I now have a network that screams!!! I'm getting about 350MBPS so things are nice nice.

I'm really glad that I've upgraded my network equipment.

On these switches:

PROS
-metal construction very solid
-cool to touch even when running
-autocrossover - so you don't have to have special cables to link switches or lose ports to uplink use
-very durable (one of my fast switches was a netgear and it's been going strong for 10 years alone in my basement!!)

CONS
-none (other than technology does age so expect to have to replace in 5 to 10 years with the next big advance)

Excellent customer service, product greatHaven't tested the abilities of the 5 GHZ band yet, but the 2.4 is working flawlessly. Also, had a conflict with my ISP's DSL modem IP address, as it was using the same one as the router. Customer service quickly identified this and helped me change it.

-02D-Link Knows SwitchesI've owned a lot of networking gear in my days. All brands do some things well, and some things not so well. Some brands even fail miserably at certain tasks.

D-Link knows switches. They make em' cheap, they make em' efficient, and they make it last.

I use this switch in my entertainment center, fed by a Ruckus 7111/7811 beam-forming wireless receiver. It delivers connectivity to my Blu-Ray player, XBox, HTPC, and AppleTV without a hitch.

Wouldn't recommend any other brand for an in expensive ethernet switch.

5 weeks old and DEAD, KAPUT, MUERTE!!!!!!We had rated it at about a four prior to today. The reason why we only would have given four stars is that they shipped it out without the requisite firmware. My computer guru( #3 son) had to update the firmware a couple of times, the last time last night. This morning, no Internet, just a buzzing router with no lights flashing! So, since we are just under the wire w/ Amazon, we're going to send it back and get a replacement, hopefully it will not behave the same way. There should have been no problems, but we did have 12 wireless devices running on it. That's why we got it, so it would handle our heavy wireless use.
